Ingredients
2 pounds Pork shoulder, cut in 1/4 inch thickness
Ingredients for the marinade
1 Tbsp. Salt, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 head of Garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tblsp. Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Fruit Juice (Pineapple or Orange)
1/2 Tsp. Red food color
1 Tbsp. Ground Pepper
1/4 cup Vinegar (optional - to add before frying)
Cooking Oil for frying

Mix together the ingredients for the marinade and let the sugar dissolve completely.

Pour it over the meat and make sure to incorporate thoroughly to the meat.

Cover it and let it chill 24 hours inside the refrigerator. If you can’t wait just over night!

When ready to cook, mix in the vinegar.

Then drain the excess liquid.

Put some oil in a pan and heat it. Then fry on medium heat.

Serve with garlic fried rice or rice, Sunny-side up Egg, and a side dip of vinegar and chili pepper or slices of tomatoes.
