Ingredients

 

1 can Condensed Milk (400ml)

1 can  Evaporated Milk (400ml)

8 Egg Yolks

2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

1 cup Water

1 cup Sugar

 

 

Leche Flan

 

  1. Mix everything together except the water and the sugar.
     

  2. In a separate pot, heat the water and sugar until it becomes a nice brown color but don't overcook it because caramel becomes hard fast.
     

  3. Put the caramel in a mold and carefully spread your mixture over it.
     

  4. Cover your mold with aluminum foil and put it into a water-bath for 1 hour at about 170°C.
     

  5. When ready, loose the edges with a knife and turn out carefully.
     

  6. Store in the refrigerator until serving.
