Adobo Filipino Recipes

Ingredients
 

1 kg Chicken or Pork

3 pcs dried Bay Leaves
½ cup Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Vinegar
3 cloves Garlic, minced
2 cups Water
1/4 cup Cooking Oil
Salt & Pepper

Adobo

 

  1. Cut the meat into serving pieces.
     

  2. Combine the soy sauce and garlic in a large container and marinade the meat overnight.
     

  3. Place the cooking oil in a pan and apply heat.
     

  4. When the oil is hot enough, put-in the marinated meat.
     

  5. Add the water and bring to boil.
     

  6. Then put the dried bay leaves and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the meat is tender enough
     

  7. Add vinegar, salt, and pepper and simmer for another10 to 12 minutes.
     

  8. You may serve it with rice.
